Synopsis[]
A girl arrives at Sunny Bay to search for her mother. Iris lets her stay at her house and Auriana lends her some clothes and a bracelet of Talia’s.[2]
Plot[]
Between music and magic, Iris has no time for Nathaniel, and he’s noticed. But she refuses to admit it, stubbornly trying to keep a date with him while helping the most recent person in need, Brenda, a teen girl who showed up to Sunny Bay to find her biological mother (she’s adopted). Auriana gives Brenda Talia's bracelet to wear. Unfortunately, she fell asleep on the bus and had everything stolen from her. While trying to help Brenda find her real mother, AND trying to maintain a dating schedule with Nathaniel, Iris ends up doing both badly… and Brenda gets kidnapped by the evil twins! Worse, the Twins targeted Brenda, because she was accidentally wearing the missing gem they needed to repair Izira’s medallion, that they stole a while ago… and make themselves exponentially more powerful!
